Big Test

November 28, 2007

On Sunday I will take the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. I am registered for the level two test. I am not ready yet, but I have lots of time to study on Wednesday and Thursday. Friday I will be very busy. Saturday I will be practicing shuji. I am a little nervous.

Very Busy

July 20, 2007

Last night I went to a Chinese restaurant called Tau Tau. Ichishi Junior High School had a party for the end of the first term. Because I am leaving the school, it was also a going away party.

This morning I met the Mayor and City Council Chairman at city hall. They wanted to thank the teachers who are finishing their contracts. In the afternoon, I have two meetings to plan for my future school.

In the evening I will go to a Yuusuzumikai at a kindergarten. It will be very fun.

Tomorrow I have more meetings and Japanese calligraphy class. Monday I will be on vacation. I’m sure I will need to rest.

Tanabata Model

July 6, 2007

Tomorrow I will be practicing my Tanabata model in calligraphy class. It is a ten character work written in semi-cursive script.

After practicing calligraphy, I might go to see the kids throwing bamboo branches into the river.
