Fast Route

February 15, 2012

Eight years ago I moved to Tsu. It is the capitol of Mie prefecture. Usually traffic is not so bad, but during rush hour some roads are very busy.

When I first arrived work had started on the Chusei Bypass. It was planned as a road to connect Matsusaka, Tsu, and Suzuka. The planned path bypasses the crowded parts of Tsu.

For a long time the road was not connected, but they have been working hard for the past several months.

Finally, this month, the road is being completed. We are hoping it will be easier to travel between Matsusaka and Suzuka.

Do you live in this area? Will you drive on this road?

Urgency

May 9, 2011

Several days each week I ride the train to work. On Monday and Wednesday, I must change trains in Tsu.

Today my condition suddenly got bad and I needed to find a toilet. There are toilets on the trains, but during rush hour the trains are crowded. It is very hard to get to the bathroom on the train.

I ran to the bathroom in Tsu, but I was worried because there is not much time between my trains.

Have you ever had an urgent situation?

Bad Traffic

February 2, 2010

Today I drove from Ise to Tsu during rush hour. Driving all the way to Kumozu River takes about 40 minutes. Driving over the bridge and through the Takachaya area takes about 40 minutes. If everyone cooperated, it would take about 10 minutes. I wish everyone would cooperate.

I was listening to nice music, so I could stay calm.
