Post cards are very convenient because they are small, light and inexpensive. If you need to send a short message to someone, a post card is a quick way to send the message. If you need to send a short message to many people, using post cards can save a lot of money.

Some people are afraid to use post cards because they worry about the postal workers reading their message. I guess the postal workers are too busy to read the cards. They are always rushing around.

Many post cards have beautiful photos on them, so they are nice to look at or collect.

Shopping at the Market

For more than a hundred years, there has been a public market in Seattle. It was created by farmers. They wanted a convenient place to sell fresh food to customers. The market is very successful because it is inexpensive, but also it is very fun and lively.

You can find fruits and vegetables, flowers, nuts and honey, fish and seafood, and handmade goods. Many shopkeepers are energetic and amusing.

Also, there are famous shops like the very first Starbuck’s Coffee shop. They usually have musicians in front of the shop and they sell fresh coffee inside. A lot of people who love Starbuck’s go there to have their picture taken and buy souvenir goods.

The view from the market is very beautiful. We can see the ocean and mountains and trees.
