Recently I am reading more books. After I finished “Winnie the Pooh”, I started “The Whistling Season”. It is a book by Ivan Doig, printed in 2007. My mother sent the book to Japan and recommended I read it.
Ivan Doig has a PhD in History from the University of Washington (my university). He lives in the Seattle area. My mother loves his books.
This book takes place in Montana in 1909. A widower and his three boys decide to hire a maid from Minnesota. I hope the book is good.
