Work Hard, Play Hard

It is Monday morning. Many Americans hate Monday morning. We have a practice called “Work Hard, Play Hard”. Most people work very hard from Monday to Friday. Some people don’t like their work very much, but they work hard to get more money.

When Friday comes, people often run for the doors. Friday night, Saturday and Sunday they will run around to parties, play sports, work on their houses, do a little travel, or whatever they consider fun. Sometimes they play so hard that they are very tired on Monday morning, and don’t want to go to work.

We call this a vicious cycle.

Work Schedule

Today I received my work schedule for next school year. This year I was working at six schools. It was very difficult to keep track of my schedule. Also, there was a lot of paperwork for each school. Every day I had to carry all of my stuff with me.

Next year I will have seven schools. I think I will be very tired.
